From kids to young adults to professional actors, musicals are a way to educate as well as entertain and build a host of skills including discipline, reading, memorization, managing multiple priorities, working in teams, presentation and public speaking/performing.

The musicals available for licensing through this site have been written to do all these things, and they make it possible in an easy and cost effective way for small to medium size productions for companies of 10 to 50 people.

All shows come with scripts and music scores. Most have fully orchestrated performance tracks available so just add your direction, performers, sets and costumes and you have a show with no orchestra needed.

If you prefer to produce these shows with a live orchestra, the piano/conductor score as well as instrumental parts are all available.

Bio for Tim Nelson (Director/Musical Director/ Vocal Coach/Conductor/Composer)

Tim Nelson is a graduate from the University of Colorado in Boulder, with a slight diversion at Boston University’s School for the Arts. He has directed, musical directed, conducted and performed in over 200 shows from California to New York and is currently the Musical Theater Chair at the Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts, the resident Director/Musical Director at Park Playhouse, Inc. of Albany, New York, and the Managing Director of the Rose Center Theater in Westminster, California.

Tim holds degrees in both vocal and instrumental music as well as in education, and as a composer has a variety of musical shows and recordings to his credit. As a Performer, some of his favorite onstage roles include Vernon Gersh in They’re Playing Our Song, Peter in Company, Harold Hill in The Music Man, and George Bailey in A Wonderful Life, The Musical. As a Vocal Coach, Arranger and Transcriber, Tim has worked with such Broadway and Film greats as Jeff Goldblum, Susan Egan, Victor Garber, Alice Ripley, Lindsay Mendez and Matthew Morrison.

Mr. Nelson has been a a Mainstay in Orange County Education and California Theater for over 25 years and believes that quality of life comes from immersion in the Arts!
